Former Warriors star Baron Davis feels that his former team will be at the top of the NBA for sometime

The Golden State Warriors led by their talisman Stephen Curry won their seventh NBA Championship after beating the Boston Celtics in six matches in the finals. This was the fourth title for the Dubs in eight years as Curry also won his first Finals MVP award. The Chef was sensational throughout the postseason and especially in the finals.

Many people feel that the Warriors dynasty is back after missing out on two years, the Dubs have won the title again to prove everyone that they are very much in contention to win NBA title once again with Klay Thompson fit and others like Jordan Poole, Kevon Looney and others also stepping up.

With players like James Wiseman, Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga in their shed the Warriors are in excellent position to build another dynasty with their youngsters as other teams are also getting better with every season. There will be some changes during the offseason so there are some uncertainties.

But former Warriors guard Baron Davis, a two time All Star, has shared his opinion on his former team. Davies does not believe that Steve Kerr’s men will give away their position from the summit so soon. He highlighted how many young and talented players are in their lineup and feels that they will carry forward this dynasty.

“They keep going up. You think about the young guys they have, [Jonathan] Kuminga, [James] Wiseman, [Moses] Moody, [Jordan] Poole is young, [Kevon] Looney is still pretty young. They have a good surplus of talent. They’re gonna get better in free agency,” said the former Warriors star.

Baron Davies then shifted to speaking about their talisman, Stephen Curry as he lauded the four time champion who has revolutionized the game totally with his long range shooting. “Steph Curry is a legend amongst legends, he’s a pioneer, and a juggernaut in this game. I just think that they play basketball in a way and a style that makes you [opponents] conform to their style, and if you play their style of basketball you’re gonna lose,” Davis added.

There is so much talent but it is the experience that has worked wonders for the Dubs. They have the right mixture of both and that has been very important for Steve Kerr’s men. The team also has great bonding and chemistry with Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green alongwith Andre Iguodala have been together for many years.

But surely they will have to move some pieces during the offseason as the team will be looking to get better during the offseason. It remains to be seen what deals do they pull off and if they get even stronger from here or not.
