NBA analyst Nick Wright wants more from Kevin Durant as the Nets got swept by the Celtics in the playoffs

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is one of the biggest talents to come out of the NBA. He is considered to be one of the best scorers of all time. Some people even feel that he has overtaken LeBron James as the best players in the NBA. But after the players a lot of opinions are changings about Durant and the Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets made it to the playoffs via the play-in tournament as they earned the seventh seed. While there were teams trying to avoid the Nets in their playoffs first round, the Boston Celtics went head on and to everyone’s surprise they came out with a clean sweep.

Despite their poor form, people thought that if they got to the playoffs they are a sure shot finals threat. But nobody saw a clean sweep coming from the Boston Celtics. After all, this is a team that is led by Kevin Durant and he has someone like Kyrie Irving for support with a lot of depth in their lineup.

Despite a sweep looming large in the background the Nets had a chance of beating the Celtics in Game 4 and salvaging some pride in avoiding the sweep. Despite Durant’s superlative performance, the support players did not stand up in his support as they lost 116-112.

After getting knocked out of the playoffs in such humiliating fashion, the national media thought it was inexcusable for the Nets to be so powerful and stacked team and yet they were swept clean by the Celtics.  Nick Wright of FS1  called out Durant as he wants him to be accountable of this humiliation. Wright wants Durantula to be more involved in the play. He demands better finishing, dribbling and leadership, things that the big man is very much capable.

“I want more from KD. Better play, finishing, leadership and everything that goes along with being ‘the best player in basketball,” Wright said after watching the Celtics complete a clean sweep of the Nets.

The Boston Celtics now wait patiently for their next opponent as they will play the winner of the Chicago Bulls and reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks lead the series by 3-1 and with Zach LaVine entering health and safety protocol and Alex Caruso questionable for Game 5, it looks like a win for the Bucks. So more or less Celtics must be ready to face the champions from last season led by their talisman, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
