NBA expert Colin Cowherd compares Stephen Curry’s legacy with LeBron James, Tim Duncan and Brady as the Warriors reach the finals

 

The Golden State Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams in the NBA in the past decade. They are once again in the NBA finals as Steph Curry and his teammates have defeated the Dallas Mavericks to reach their sixth finals in eight years. In these eight years they have won the trophy four times.

The franchise has been lauded starting from the players to the coaching staff. The team’s playing style, culture and philosophy has led to great success. The Warriors’ result driven mentality has been lauded by analysts. Despite all of their achievements the Warriors are hungry for more, they would like to win the NBA Championship again as they will take on Boston Celtics for this year’s NBA Championship.

According to Fox Sports Radio host Colin Cowherd, Stephen Curry is a different mover than other players. Cowherd shares how no one moves on the court like Curry. The Fox expert compared Curry with  LeBron James, Tim Duncan and Brady as he feels that the Warriors man is of that stellar level.

“LeBron, to me, is the right star, Tim Duncan the right star, Brady. That’s Steph! Steph’s a star and he acts like one of the guys. There’s not a single player in the league that moves like Steph without the ball,” Colin Cowherd highlighted.

Colin Cowherd pointed out the zest and passion that the Warriors have for winning the Championship. The Warriors were absent from the playoffs for the last couple of years. So the Warriors will be looking to make the most out of their chance this year to win the Championship.

The Warriors will face Boston Celtics in the finals as they reached the NBA Finals for the first time in 12 years after beating Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals at the FTX Arena. It will be sensational to see how things match up against the two teams. Cowherd feels that with Marcus Smart winning the ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ award, Warriors talisman Draymond Green will be pumped to prove that he is a better defender. Whereas Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry will look to beat their matchups against Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. It promises to be a very exciting clash with the Warriors surely having some edge over the Celtics going into the final series.
