The emergence of top stars like Jadon Sancho, who has already made himself one of the hottest stars in Europe. Gio Reyna has joined the league of the best talents in BVB. The creative 17-year old midfielder recently joined the first-team squad in training early this year [January], and he has gone to make seven senior appearances in total with most of his appearances coming from the bench.
His 137 minutes of action for the club has seen him nicked in goal in the DFB Pokal Cup as well as an assistant for the “dangerous” Erling Braut Haaland,” who is another weapon at the arsenal of Dortmund.
In Dortmund’s recent game of the UEFA Champions League round of 16, against PSG, Reyna showed his full attacking strength for all to see as he was pulling strings from the middle of the park causing a lot of problem for the French side.
Sancho revealed in an exclusive chat that he feels Gio is a fantastic player, and he looks forward to seeing him among the best players in Dortmund.
” I’m so excited to see him play, and playing alongside him every week is something that seems exciting to me. I hope he keeps on carrying this form”.
There is every chance that Reyna will make his first Bundesliga start this weekend when Dortmund travel to Werder Bremen. Lucien Favre’s men can’t avoid any slip up as they must keep on the pressure on Bayern Munich and Leipzig taking the lead on the Bundesliga table.
