Juric exits Southampton after relegation

Southampton Football Club has parted ways with manager Ivan Juric following the team’s relegation from the Premier League. Juric, who took charge of the club in December, leaves after a disappointing spell that saw the team win just two games in all competitions.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl is expected to be considered the frontrunner to replace Juric, with Group Technical Director Johannes Spors playing a key role in the replacement process.

Juric’s tenure at Southampton was marked by a series of poor results, including a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday that sealed the team’s relegation. The Croatian manager had been in charge for 107 days, winning twice in all competitions, and his departure is seen as a major shake-up in the club’s bid to return to the Premier League.

Southampton’s relegation was a significant blow to the team, with fans and pundits alike criticizing the club’s recruitment policy and managerial decisions.
