Juventus eye Balogun as Kolo Muani’s alternative, prepare for Vlahovic’s exit

Juventus are preparing for next season without Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani by adding former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun to their list of centre-forward options.

Balogun led the 2026 FIFA World Cup co-host USA to the round of 16 with three goals, putting him on the radar of some top clubs in Europe.

The club is reportedly discussing the pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani as it reaches a critical stage.

Tuttosport reported that Kolo Muani remains Luciano Spalletti’s first choice, but they will have to improve their offer if they are to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus are yet to get close to the €40 million valuation that his parent club want. It looks like if they fail to reach an agreement, they may have to guarantee the bonus portions to convince Luis Campos that they mean business.

Kolo Muani spent last season with English side Tottenham Hotspur, who are unwilling to make his temporary stay permanent.

Balogun could be a better alternative, fitting the profile Spalletti has drawn up: physical, sharp in space, and, above all, a finisher.

Since leaving Arsenal for AS Monaco,  American scored 19 goals in 43 games for Monaco last season, including a Champions League brace against PSG. Balogun also boasts an excellent availability record, missing just one match through injury.

Monaco sees this as an opportunity to cash out on their prize asset as they intend to fund their own market with the sale and has set a minimum price of €50 million.

Compared to the age difference, he may be a better alternative to the French striker.

Kolo Muani already had a successful stint with the Bianconeri during the 2024-25 season.

This is more for the reason they preferred him, and he also wants a return to the Turin club.

It is expected that his future will be resolved in a matter of days.
