Kylian Mbappé is not allowed to train with PSG’s first-team ahead of the new Ligue 1 season

As the contract dispute between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) persists, the French star will not be allowed to train with the club’s main first-team group.

After PSG’s tour of Japan and South Korea, the team returned to their training base on Monday. However, Mbappé was designated to the ‘loft’ training group instead of joining the first team.

Sources within PSG are convinced that Mbappé, whose contract expires next summer, has already reached an agreement for a free transfer to Real Madrid. Despite PSG’s efforts to negotiate a new contract, the player’s management has refused to entertain any offers that include a guaranteed sale clause, allowing him to join another club for a fee next summer.

Last month, PSG granted Al-Hilal permission to discuss terms with Mbappé after the Saudi club made a staggering £259 million bid. However, reports suggest that Mbappé declined to meet with Al-Hilal delegates who had flown to Paris.

With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future, Mbappé’s training situation is in limbo as PSG gears up to kick off their 2023-24 Ligue 1 campaign at home against Lorient on August 12.

Mbappé is widely regarded as one of the best young football talents in the world, and several factors contribute to his exceptional abilities:

Speed, as Mbappé’s lightning-fast pace sets him apart from many other players, dribbling skills that enable him to navigate through tight spaces and take on multiple defenders, he is a clinical finisher in front of the goal, he has remarkable football intelligence, versatility, dedication and work ethic, big-game performances, leadership, mentality and humility.

Combining all these attributes, Mbappé has become a complete football player, making him a joy to watch on the pitch and a formidable force for any team lucky enough to have him.

Real Madrid’s pursuit of Mbappé is driven by the desire to secure an exceptional talent, enhance their global brand and commercial value, invest in a long-term asset, continue their tradition of signing Galácticos, plan for the future, boost their chances in the Champions League, maintain their star-studded image, and gain a competitive advantage in the football landscape.
