Kylian Mbappe wants to win Champions League title with Paris Saint Germain before leaving the club

French talisman Kylian Mbappe is still heavily linked with Real Madrid but the youngster’s dream is to win the Champions League with PSG before moving anywhere else.

Mbappe who won the World Cup with France in 2018 is yet to sign a contract with the Parisians and his current contract also ends in the summer of 2022 making him a free agent. While he remains to be a top target for Real Madrid. But the French sensation has claimed to stay at Paris until he has won them the elusive Champions League title.

The 22-year-old recently gave an interview along with his partner in crime,  Neymar. It was a fun interactive session organised by the club where both players interviewed each other. Mbappe said, “I’m not a very good journalist… What would I ask Neymar? What is your big dream after everything you’ve achieved?”

“My biggest dream with PSG is to win the Champions League and with Brazil to win the World Cup. And for you, Kylian, it’s to win the Champions League, isn’t it?” questioned Neymar.

“Why not another World Cup?” replied Mbappe, with a smile.

“No, the next World Cup is for me. What’s your next big dream after winning the World Cup?” Neymar chipped in.

“My biggest dream is to win the Champions League with PSG, that would be fantastic. But winning another World Cup would be great too,” the 22-year-old added more fuel to the fiery speculations.

The French giants are eager to get their hands on the continental title as they have made some great signings like Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Parisians are keen to lift the Champions League in the upcoming season after losing out against Bayern Munich in the finals in 2020 and then bowing out in the semifinals against Manchester City last season.

Mbappe has won four titles in his time at Parc des Princes but he wants to fight for the elusive Champions League before moving elsewhere. The French wizkid will leave France and join Spain now or a few seasons later as a move to Real Madrid now looks inevitable.
