Manchester United Better on the Pitch but Bad Financially

Manchester United have so far had their worst season in club history, starting the Premier League campaign bottom of the table.

However, the club seems to begin to find a winning formula that has led to four consecutive victories in the Premier.

The coach of the Red Devils, the Dutchman Erik Ten Hag, assures that the team is ready to face all the challenges that all the tournaments in which they will compete for hold.

“We have to win every game, every tournament; that has to be the mindset of Manchester,” said Ten Hag.

Marcus Rashford, Christian Eriksen, and Antony Martial, for whom the club paid 100 million euros to Ajax, have been the players who have helped the team return to winning ways.

But even though the Red Devils are looking better and better on the pitch, their finances are not doing so well.

Expert football financial analysts from Off The Pitch Revenues have revealed that the club’s spending on wages has skyrocketed to €440m. The problem is that it is experiencing a drop in income, where it is estimated that they have billed about 671 million euros.

Historically it has been the richest club in England, but these are not good times for United.

New Investors

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton was asked before the Dutch Grand Prix about making a bid for Manchester United alongside his partner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

“Jim [Ratcliffe] hasn’t called me yet to ask if I want to be involved in that (an offer for United). But I want to get more involved in teams because I believe in black ownership; there’s a lack of it in the sport. And black equity, again, is a real lack, ”he clearly answered Hamilton, who also explained his relationship with Ratcliffe, the wealthiest man in the United Kingdom.

“Jim is part boss and also a partner. I would say that we are more partners because we are in this together, and I hope to do something with Jim and build with him in the future. I don’t know where it will be or what it will be, so I can’t say.”
