Manchester United Does Not Stop Working to Save the Season

At Old Trafford, they are working overtime to save the season even though the Premier League started only a couple of weeks ago.

The Red Devils have had a fateful start to the season, which has them bottom of the table, they managed to make up some ground by beating Liverpool 1-2 in the derby, but this is not enough if the club wants to compete for silverware.

Given the requests of the boss, Ten Hag, to reinforce the payroll, the club’s board of directors opened the checkbook and signing of Casemiro.

Casemiro left Real Madrid after a successful career with the club. In an interview, the player revealed why he decided to leave the white house.

“When you make such an important decision in your life, it’s always difficult, but after finishing the Champions League final, I spoke with my agent because I had the feeling that I was ending my cycle here. I am honest with myself, with the Madridistas, and with my president.

“They told me to go on vacation with a calm head, and after a month, I had the same feeling. I have given everything for this club, and I leave with my duty fulfilled. If I had a mission, it’s done. I am looking for new challenges, to try a different league and culture where I have not won anything”, he added.

But it seems Casemiro will not be the only last-minute signing for the Red Devils. According to The Sun, the club would prepare an offer of around £84m.

for Ajax winger Antony with whom the club has already agreed on personal terms to move to Old Trafford.

Another of the movements that the Manchester United office is preparing is for Martin Dubravka, who would arrive as David de Gea’s back-up.

If the rumored signings materialize, the Red Devils could end up spending more than £200m.
