Mikel Arteta comments on offer from Real Madrid

Mikel Arteta’s rise to prominence in the world of football has been nothing short of remarkable. When he was first appointed as Arsenal’s head coach in December 2019, many doubted his capabilities due to his lack of experience. However, Arteta quickly silenced his critics and became one of the most recognized coaches in world football.

Arteta’s work at Arsenal has been impressive, with the Gunners showing significant improvements under his leadership. He has instilled a sense of discipline and structure within the team, making them more organized defensively while also improving their attacking play. His tactical acumen and ability to get the best out of his players have not gone unnoticed in the footballing world.

In fact, it seems that he has caught the attention of Real Madrid, who have him on the shortlist as a possible replacement for Carlo Ancelotti.

Everything seems to indicate that Ancelotti will become the Brazilian national coach in the summer, so Real Madrid is on the market looking for a new head coach.

Rumors suggest that from Madrid, they are analyzing names like Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, or a possible return of Zidane if he fails to get the position in the French national team.

Sources close to the club have mentioned that president Florentino Perez wants Mikel Arteta and has put him as a priority candidate.

In this regard, Arteta mentioned that he is focused on his work with the Gunners and that, at the moment, he does not think about leaving the club. “As a manager, I cannot control the things that are written about me.

“But what I can tell you is that I am fully focused on the job I am doing here, and I am extremely proud and grateful to do what I am doing with this football club.

“And that’s it.”
