UCL: Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich Preview

Date: Tuesday 25th February 2020
Kickoff: 9:00 PM
Venue: Stamford Bridge, London.

Match Preview

It is another day in the champions league as Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich travel to face familiar foes, Chelsea, at the Stamford bridge. The last time the Bavarian met the premier league side was eight years ago. Tonight promises to be a fire-cracker.

Premier League side Chelsea made it through the group stages by sneaking through at the expense of Ajax Amsterdam dropping points on the final matchday just second behind Valencia on the log table via goal difference.

Chelsea has been mediocre at home this season. They have managed to gather a mere two wins at home
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, dealing with all their opponents that came their way with ease, including a 7-2 mauling of Tottenham. The Munich outfit sealed maximum points from all their six games for passage into the round of 16. To mention a few, the Bavarians have been in a brilliant form winning back to back games in their domestic league. They have been unbeaten in various competitions since the beginning of the new year, and we have to say Lampard’s side are in for a long ninety minutes as they have to stop the wave of Bayern attacks.
