Round 2 of the playoffs has brought out the best in teams, providing us with some upset in the process. Some teams would qualify for the final round by the end of the week while others would end their journey. We would have to wait till the end of the week to find out all of that, but we can predict the outcome of Friday matches and see how things might go.
The first match of the night is Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors. Since Friday is Game 7, the winner for the series would emerge then or sooner, depending on the outcome of the other matches this week. The Raptors denied the Celtics the chance of making it to the next round without conceding any defeat like they did in Round 1. The Raptors seem very ready to defend their NBA championship, looking at how they played their last two games. The Celtics are just as determined to progress as far as possible.
Next, we have Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers. The Nuggets have shown that they are not going down without a fight as they won their Saturday game, putting them at a tie with the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard is doing all he can to make it to the finals again and has carried his team well so far. But the Nuggets have tried, having made it this far and it is clear that they would still cause upsets as much as they can, winning some games within the week and maybe their Friday fixture. Still, the Clippers might emerge from their Saturday defeat stronger and with more passion to win their next games. But a Game 6 is inevitable.
