Philadelphia held a four-point advantage in overtime before the Raptors responded with a decisive 7-0 run. A dunk by Collin Murray-Boyles put Toronto ahead late, but VJ Edgecombe answered with a clutch three-pointer to tie the game at 115. Barnes then drew a foul and calmly converted at the line to seal the win. Barnes finished with 31 points as Toronto won for the fourth time in five games, while Jamal Shead scored 22 and hit the shot that forced overtime. Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 38 points in defeat.
In Minneapolis, the Minnesota Timberwolves completed a stunning rally to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 104-103. Anthony Edwards scored 23 points as Minnesota erased a 19-point deficit to claim its fifth win in six games. Victor Wembanyama had 29 points for San Antonio, which saw its three-game winning streak snapped.
The Memphis Grizzlies closed on a 13-0 run to beat the visiting Brooklyn Nets 103-98. Rookie Cedric Coward led Memphis with 21 points, while Brooklyn received 17 points each from Noah Clowney and Tyrese Martin.
In Denver, the Denver Nuggets held off the Milwaukee Bucks 108-104 behind 23 points from Aaron Gordon. Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 31 points and 11 assists for Milwaukee, which fell just short after a late rally.
The Atlanta Hawks rolled past the Golden State Warriors 124-111, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker scoring 24 points. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 31 for Golden State.
Elsewhere, the Orlando Magic outscored the New Orleans Pelicans 37-20 in the fourth quarter to win 128-118, while the New York Knicks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 123-114 behind Jalen Brunson’s 26 points.
The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their surge with a 124-112 win over the Miami Heat, led by 29 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Phoenix, Sacramento and Denver also posted notable victories, capping a packed night of NBA action filled with late drama and standout performances.
