Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant speaks very highly of French youngster Victor Wembanyama as he can’t wait to see him in the league

Brooklyn Nets talisman Kevin Durant was very excited to see the most talked about youngster Victor Wembanyama. The top NBA prospect has been the most talked about player and Durant was just amazed to see the young Frenchman who is so enthusiastic and passionate about the sport.

Durant then went to Jamal Crawford’s segment on NBA TV called Crawford’s Couch. He there spoke about Wembanyama and his enthusiasm as a young basketball player. Durant shared how he is very happy with the improvement that Wemby has made in the last couple of years.

“Man, I just see a talented, enthusiastic player that just looks like he loves the game. You could see those guys that love to play. It looks like he got so much better over the last couple of years, that’s just from the work that you put in. So, I’m impressed with him, I can’t wait to see him in the league. See how everything pans out for him in the league and I’m looking forward to playing against him as well,” Durant shared his thoughts on the projected No.1 Draft pick for the next season.

The fans are very excited to see Wemby play but they simply can’t wait for him to play for an NBA team. Even the biggest of the NBA stars see his talent and immense potential and can’t wait to go up against him. The big Frenchman is here to stay and Kevin Durant knows exactly the reason why.

Coming to the current season, the Brooklyn Nets had a rocky start but now things have started to flow for Kevin Durant and his men. The likes of Ben Simmons, Royce O’Neal, Ben Simmons and others have been extremely consistent alongwith the main man, Kevin Durant.

The 12 time All-Star is playing at a different level as he is averaging 30.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists while shooting 56.5% from the field and 36.2% from beyond the arc. Durant has jumped two places with his consistency as he was seventh in the MVP race but now he has jumped to 5th position.

Courtesyof Durant’s exceptional form and the other players playing their roles well, the Nets have won seven consecutive games. The Nets are only behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and leaders Milwaukee Bucks. Hence the Nets fans have plenty to cheer about as the team is finally getting better with every game and are looking like a contender.
