I’m in the prime of my career: Steph Curry sends a warning to other teams

Golden State Warriors talisman Steph Curry has launched a massive warning to other teams ahead of the next season of the NBA, stating he is in the prime of his career. Curry is regarded as one of the best three-point shooters of the game and has played a key role in the success of the Dubs over the years.

Curry averaged 29.7 in the 2022-23 season for Golden State Warriors. He also averaged 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists in the previous season of the league.

Golden State Warriors suffered a 4-2 loss against Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals in the last edition and Curry will be looking to take the Dubs all the way in the upcoming season along with Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and new signing Chris Paul, who will bring a lot of experience to the table.

Curry said he is always motivated to prove his mettle at the top level.

“I had to really try to find out what my identity was,” Curry said in an interview with PBS. “Proving people wrong, in a sense. I tried to channel that. I had some — my mom painted a very good perspective for me at those ages of everybody just wants to be seen, have an opportunity to showcase who they really are and what they’re really capable of and what they offer to the world. But my motivation was to prove myself right.

The linchpin feels he still has a lot to achieve and he will try to push the envelope in the rest of his career.

“I still feel like I — I’m in the prime of my career, in a sense of what I’m able to accomplish.

“Just out there and what the future may hold, trying to achieve, hopefully, win more championships, and push the envelope as far as I can.”

Curry is going to hold the key for GSW if they are t go all the way in the upcoming season.
