It’s going to be epic – Draymond Green as GSW book clash against Lakers

It’s going to be Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers which means it is going to be Steph Curry vs LeBron James. The duo have dominated the game in the last 15 years and they are going to be up against one another – again.

Curry scored 50 points to lead the Warriors to a 120-100 win against the No. 3-seeded Sacramento Kings in Game 7 and helped them seal the series 4-3 in the first-round playoff series.

On the other hand, LeBron James scored 40 points against the No. 2-seeded Memphis Grizzlies in the sixth game of the series. Thus, both have delivered for their respective teams and GSW’s veteran defender Draymond Green feels it is going to be an epic clash.

“It’s going to be epic,” Warriors forward Draymond Green said. “You got Steph, you got Bron doing it all over again.”

Green however played if this will be the last dance together for these two veterans of the game.

“But … stop trying to turn the page on us so fast,” Green said. “Stop trying to turn the page on Bron.

“We get so caught up in what’s the next thing, we don’t appreciate the current. Then you get to the next thing and you’re looking back, like, ‘Man, I wish we still had that. I wish we could still see this.'”

“So for me and our guys,” Green continued, “we are going to appreciate this every step of the way.”

Warriors assistant coach Bruce Fraser showered praise on Steph Curry for working on his short game.

“People think he’s just having fun or showing off,” said Warriors assistant coach Bruce Fraser said. “But he’s always working on his short game. It’s like [in golf]. We call it ‘chipping and putting.'”

The first match of the second-round playoff between GSW and LAL will be played on Tuesday night.
