NBA Analyst Matt Steinmetz feels Draymond Green absorbs the limelight helping Steph Curry and Klay Thompson stay under the radar

Over the years the NBA has seen several trios where three players have their different roles. Sometimes even their personalities are way different from one another and that actually makes it work. There have been numerous instances where players with different personalities have become the greatest of mates on and off the court.

The Golden State Warriors dynasty lies heavily on the epic trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. While Curry takes the limelight and gets all the importance for his greatness on court, Klay Thompson hides in the shadows and helps his Splash brother whenever possible with his elite shooting. But to make the entire act work Draymond Green often steals the limelight from Curry and helps him go under the radar a little with his constant chirping, acts on court or simply his ability to dominate play against opponents. These attributes that each of the three players bring to this team has made them champions in the past.

Green also contributes off court especially with all his opinions as he is a part of the new media with his podcast. He lets people know how he feels about them and that actually takes away the limelight from the other two off court. This helps the team massively, something that has been noticed by radio host and NBA analyst Matt Steinmetz.

“Steph Curry does not want the limelight alone,” radio host Matt Steinmetz said about the dynamic of Gren with the Splash Brothers. “He wants to share the limelight. … Who isn’t afraid of the limelight all by himself? Draymond Green.”

“Dray absorbing all of that stuff allows Klay and Steph to stay a little bit more under the radar than most superstars,” he went on adding.

Green has this cut throat honesty for which his podcast episodes are very interesting and are admired by the Dub Nation and also by other NBA enthusiasts. He is often seen covering matches for the TNT courtside. During the All-Star game he was interviewing his teammates. It is something that he has made his own and people wait to hear his opinions on different matters related to the NBA. It is his truthful nature and honesty that gets appreciated in his podcasts and interviews.
