We are back: GSW continue celebration as Steph Curry dedicates win to fans

Golden State Warriors received constant support from their fans throughout the NBA 2021-22 season. The Dubs were able to go all the way as they defeated Boston Celtics by 103-90 at TD Garden during the weekend to take the series 4-2.

This is GSW’s fourth title in the last eight years. The team came up with a collective show and delivered it for their fans. The team’s talisman Steph Curry, who played an instrumental role in the success of the Warriors, gave his gratitude to the fans during the team’s parade celebrations in San Francisco.

“We represent you guys,” Curry told the crowd. “The life that you give us, the inspiration, all those things matter. That’s what it’s all about. Entertaining you guys, giving you something to cheer for, be passionate about. It’s giving us the platform to go do things that haven’t been done before in history and representing the entire Bay Area in the process. We’re back, having a parade in San Francisco, so let’s go do it.”

On the other hand, Draymond Green, who was like a wall in GSW’s defense, said he feels happy for players like Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins, who have won the title on the first occasion.

“What brings me the most joy … is seeing the guys who won it the first time,” Draymond Green said. “In your journey, you always want that first-time feeling back. The reality is you never get it again, and the only way to get it again is to feel it through Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Otto Porter, Beli, Moses, GP … you feel it through those guys and that’s how you get that sensation again.”

“This has been an amazing year,” Green said. “I told y’all, don’t let us win a championship, and clearly, nobody could stop it.”

Golden State Warriors deserve all the credit as they were brilliant right throughout the season. Meanwhile, Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 steal while shooting 48.2% overall in the NBA Finals as he was at his best. Ergo, he was awarded the Final MVP for the first time in his illustrious career.
