Gabriel Martinelli signs long-term contract with Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli has made a name for himself at Arsenal in his short time with the club. The young Brazilian’s performances have been impressive, making him one of the most exciting players in the Premier League. A hardworking and versatile forward, he is known as one of the fastest and most skilled players on the team.

His pace, technical ability, and eye for goal make him a threat to any defense he faces. In addition to scoring goals, Martinelli has also shown off his creative side by providing assists for teammates this season.

Martinelli’s talent has caught the attention of many clubs in Europe. It was rumored that Chelsea would try an aggressive move to sign the player, but finally, the Gunners have managed to reach an agreement for the player to stay for an extended period.

Martinelli admitted last month that he was happy in north London and only needed a pen to sign a new deal. “I’m very happy at Arsenal. I said it many times. This is my club. I love to be here, I love the city, the club, everything about Arsenal.

“I want to stay. I’m very happy. They just need a pen.”

When the new agreement was signed with the young Brazilian, Gunner’s boss Arteta was delighted. “We’re delighted Gabi has signed a new long-term contract.

“Our supporters see his quality and energy every single time he puts on the shirt and he’s the same every day in training, with his hard work and positive values.

“Gabi is still very young, so we know there’s still much more to come from him and it’s great that we’ll be on this journey together.

“We’re now excited to continue to develop his huge talent and look forward to seeing him perform with Arsenal in the years to come.”

Edu Gaspar sports director of Arsenal and the main person in charge of negotiating the agreements with the players also expressed his happiness that Martinelli stays at the club. “It’s great that Gabi has signed a new contract with us.

“The foundations of our squad continue to be built on young talent, so it’s great that Gabi has signed a new contract.

“Gabi is still just 21, and a player with big ability and personality. He is an important part of our future and we’re delighted that we have agreed a new contract.”
