Olympique Lyonnais striker, Karl Toko Ekambi has said he dreams of winning the Europa League trophy with the Ligue 1 club.

Although, Rennes defeated league leaders, PSG, such a scoreline for a team flying high in the Europa is nothing to write home about.

So, far they remain the leader in their group after four games. As it stands, they have already won the group and secured a knockout stage ticket.

Lyon might be struggling in the domestic games, but many European teams will want to avoid them.

Speaking further on the talents of the team, Ekambi who is high on confidence, pointed that Lyon had everything to win their first European trophy at the end of the season.

The striker who stated that there are always more spaces said it corresponds to my style of play.

Admitting that their approach in the European competition is different to that of a championship game.
He cited an example where the players don’t need to talk to each other for 10 minutes to get involved.
He further stated that in the Ligue 1, Lyon finds itself facing regrouped teams.

He is now calling on his teammates to be focused, and urged them to up their game and increase their level of concentration and gain humility.

Noting that Lyon remains favourite to lift the trophy, he told the club’s official website that there is still a long way to go for Peter Bosz’s men.

Meanwhile, Bosz had admitted that they were poor against Rennes that defeated them hands down.
