Musiala back in training following health issues

Jamal Musiala has returned to training following the seizure episodes he experienced earlier this month, bringing welcome relief to Bayern Munich and supporters alike.

The young German international’s presence on the pitch once more marks an important step in his recovery journey.

Board member for sport Max Eberl and manager Vincent Kompany have outlined a carefully considered recovery plan designed to restore the attacker to full match fitness in a measured and responsible manner.

The club’s primary objective in supporting Musiala centers on reducing the frequency of his seizures, with the ultimate hope of eliminating them entirely.

After the recent incidents, the focus has been firmly on achieving a noticeable decrease in the frequency of episodes.

While complete cessation remains the ideal long-term outcome, those involved acknowledge that such a result may prove challenging.

Progress towards fewer seizures will determine when Musiala can safely rejoin competitive action with the squad.

When asked about the possibility of Musiala featuring in the weekend fixture against rivals Schalke, Vincent Kompany declined to set any firm timeline.

The Belgian preferred to let the 23-year-old’s recovery proceed at its natural pace, without imposing external pressure or expectations tied to the next match.

This approach reflects a methodical strategy that prioritizes medical stability before any gradual reintegration into first-team football.

Bayern’s handling of the situation demonstrates a clear commitment to the player’s long-term wellbeing over short-term sporting needs.

By concentrating first on minimizing the risk of further seizures and only then easing Musiala back into the intensity of matches, the club is adopting a patient and protective pathway.

Kompany has once again displayed considerable sensitivity by keeping the focus on recovery rather than on availability for any particular game.

Everyone connected with the club continues to hope for the best and remains firmly supportive of the youngster as he works towards a complete and sustained recovery.
