Paris Saint-Germain have returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Olympique Lyon in their Ligue 1 clash.
The French Ligue 1 champions went into a two-goal lead within 14 through Mousa Dembele and Vitihna from the penalty spot.
The visitors finally got a lifeline when they got one back after punishing PSG for the sloppy defending through Georges Mikautadze.
Gonçalo Ramos made the result safe for Les Parisien with another goal two minutes before regulation to coast to a victory against in-dorm Lyon.
The hosts opened the goals chat in the 8th minute when Dembélé left footed shot to the center of the goal with an assist from Désiré Doué.
Lyon added to their hurdles by conceding a penalty later when Corentin Tolisso conceded a foul in the box. Vitinha stepped up and converted the spot-kick with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner.
They had another opportunity for a goal that could take them out of sight, but Lee Kang-In’s left-foot strike from the center of the box went straight to the keeper.
Lyon were able to reduce the deficit in the 40th minute as Mikautadze right footed shot from the center of the box after PSG failed to clear a loose ball from their box, allowing Rayan Cherki to release a through ball to the striker, who made no mistake from 8 yards.
After losing several chances in the game, PSG finally secured the result in the 88th when Ramos came in for Doue right footed shot from the right side of the six-yard box to the bottom right corner.
The win takes Luis Enrique’s men to 37 points from 15 games, while Olympique Marseille remain second with 30 points. Monaco and Lille complete the top four with 30 and 27 points.
Meanwhile, the defeat leaves Lyon with 25 points in the fifth spot on the log.
