PSG working on Akliouche, loan out Moscardo

Paris Saint-Germain have begun preparations for next season as they have now identified Maghnes Akliouche as their next target.

It seems the European champions are prepared to sell Brandy Barcola, who wants more first-team opportunities, and have identified the Monaco winger as an alternative, which could be their first major addition of the summer.

According to reports, Les Parisiens are making slow progress on the deal.

PSG already sold Gonçalo Ramos for a big fee, which is expected to be reinvested in a striker. Randal Kolo Miami could also leave this summer, and the Paris club will have more funds at their disposal to reinforce the

According to Sacha Tavolieri, talks have been going on since the spring, with Monaco asking for a €50m fee for the attacker, which seems pretty reasonable for such an exceptional talent.

The 24-year-old Akliouche already have over 100 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco and is a perfect replacement for the departing Kang-in Lee, who is joining Atletico Madrid.

PSG intends to pay as little as possible, which is their delaying tactic in making the deal happen. Monaco are expected not to go below the 50 Euro mark, given how much promise Akliouche has shown.

The player wants to join PSG, having already given his “green light”, and he will be hoping this deal can be sorted soon so he can begin preparing for his move once the World Cup with France is over.

“As for the player himself, the trend is clear… Akliouche has reportedly already informed those close to him that PSG is his priority. Seduced by the prospect of joining Paris and working under Luis Enrique, the player is said to be pushing internally to finalize the transfer in the coming weeks,”  Tavolieri said.

In a related development of transfer, PSG have allowed Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Moscardo to join La Liga side RCD Espanyol on a season-long loan deal without a purchase option.

The midfielder who joined PSG last winter is below the pecking order, and the club give him an opportunity to have some playing experience on the highest level, which could be beneficial in the long run for the club.
