Pistons and Bucks Complete Multiplayer Deal as Six-Team NBA Trade Reshapes Rosters

The Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks have completed a trade involving veteran reserves as part of a blockbuster six-team transaction that also features the Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers.

Under the deal, the Bucks acquire veteran guard Caris LeVert and two future second-round draft picks from Detroit. In return, the Pistons receive forwards Taurean Prince and Gary Harris from Milwaukee, while also landing John Collins from the Los Angeles Clippers and three additional second-round selections.

The trade sees assets spread across all six franchises. The Wizards receive Khris Middleton and a 2033 second-round pick from Dallas. The Grizzlies add AJ Johnson, D’Angelo Russell, Isaiah Stewart, multiple second-round picks and a top-20 protected 2030 first-round pick from Dallas. The Mavericks acquire Santi Aldama, Marcus Sasser and the draft rights to Tarik Biberovic, while the Clippers receive a protected 2028 second-round pick from Detroit.

For Milwaukee, the arrival of LeVert adds an experienced backcourt option despite a difficult campaign with the Pistons. The 31-year-old averaged a career-low 7.4 points in 19.2 minutes per game during his lone season in Detroit. Across his NBA career, LeVert has averaged 13.2 points per game while shooting 43.6 percent from the field.

Detroit, meanwhile, strengthens its depth by bringing in two seasoned veterans. Prince, 32, averaged 9.2 points per game last season but was limited to just 26 appearances because of a neck injury. Harris, 31, featured in 48 games for the Bucks and averaged 2.7 points per contest.

In addition to Prince and Harris, the Pistons also secure John Collins and bolster their future draft capital with second-round selections in 2029, 2031 and 2032. Milwaukee, on the other hand, supplements its roster with LeVert while adding two future second-round picks.

The Grizzlies emerge as one of the busiest teams in the transaction, acquiring several players and draft assets, including Isaiah Stewart, D’Angelo Russell and AJ Johnson, alongside multiple future picks. Dallas reshapes its roster with the additions of Santi Aldama, Marcus Sasser and the rights to Tarik Biberovic, while Washington and the Clippers also add new pieces through the league-wide deal.

The six-team agreement represents one of the most extensive transactions of the offseason, with multiple franchises opting to reshape their rosters and draft assets in a single move.
