The misfortune continued for Celta Vigo with Dominguez’s own goal in the 88th minute. Guler’s late goal in stoppage time was the icing on the cake for Real.
Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, praised Guler’s brief but impactful appearance, highlighting his talent and promising future at the club. This victory places Real Madrid seven points clear at the top of the table, ahead of second-placed Girona, following their 2-0 win over Osasuna.
Celta Vigo, under the guidance of former Madrid manager Rafa Benitez, now finds themselves in a precarious position, just above the relegation zone. Despite the defeat, Benitez remains optimistic, focusing on recovery and preparation for the upcoming matches.
