18-year-old Jude Bellingham has quickly become one of Borussia Dortmund’s stars.
The English midfielder made 46 appearances for the German club last season and scored four times.
This season the player has earned a place in the first team and has scored a goal and two assists.
Bellingham came to Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham. The German club paid £ 25million to sign him, and it looks like it was a bargain.
Bellingham’s excellent performance has caught the attention of major Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
According to the Daily Star, the three English teams would enter a tough race to sign the young midfielder.
Aware of the great interest in his player, Borussia Dortmund would put a price tag on the player of about € 100 million. This is not surprising as Dortmund is known for putting high prices on their players.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the player, and this could move the club’s hierarchy to try to sign him regardless of the price.
Guardiola commented positively on Bellingham after their last Champions League game. Pep said: “I can’t believe it, maybe he’s a mess! He’s so good for 17 years old, he’s a fantastic player.
“There was one moment when he didn’t get the ball from central defenders, how he shouts and demands that ball to him at 17 means a lot.
“I spoke with his manager, Edin, and he told me what you see in these two games is like every training session.”
