Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green comes up with dream starting five on a fan’s request

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is very active on social media. He often shares his views on different circumstances happening in and around the NBA world. Recently on his podcast, a fan asked him to make his dream lineup. It is very tough for anyone to choose their dream starting five but Green still tried his best to come up with a lineup that would be unbeatable.

Green explained how the different eras make things very tough, so he thought of making a team that would be unstoppable as a whole and not based on different eras that the players played in. “This is where the eras and stuff gets tricky,” Green replied to a fan’s request of choosing his dream starting five.

The Warriors star selected Stephen Curry at point guard followed by LeBron James at 3 and Shaquille O’Neal as the center. He then selected Tim Duncan and at last he picked Michael Jordan to finish off his dream five.

“Because what era of basketball am I talking about? But I’m just gonna talk basketball in the sense of who I think would make a great five. Steph at the 1, Shaq at the 5, LeBron at the 3, Timmy D at the 4 and … Did you think I was go(ing for) anyone other than MJ at the 2? You’re gotta be out of your mind,” Green added.

It is a fantastic team with hardly any flaws. Stephen Curry at point guard may not be the traditional guards but his long range shooting will open up spaces and help the others to also get a look in. Shaquille O’Neal, on the other hand, is very dominant on the paint. The Lakers big man was unguardable during his prime and will be looking to capitalize on the open spaces in defence created by Curry.

Then we come to LeBron James who can be the primary ball handler and open up defences with his sensational passing and basketball iq. He will also score at will whenever he wants. SImilarly Tim Duncan is another player who will be very free flowing in attack and exceptional in defence. Duncan will provide that great interior defence and has similar intelligence like LeBron to pick players with his passes.

Lastly, the addition of Michael Jordan makes everything in this team a lot better. Michael Jordan is an exceptional defender and is even better on the attack. He is someone who will attract defenders and open up spaces for others. Overall it is his aura that will elevate this team of several sensational players. So a starting five simply cannot get better than this as Draymond Green has all ends covered.
