Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry reveals that the Warriors front office discusses offseason moves with him

The Golden State Warriors are looking to redeem themselves in the upcoming NBA season. With Klay Thompson coming back, the Warriors are very optimistic ahead of the latest season. The  Dubs fans are eager to watch the iconic trio of Thompson, Steph Curry and Draymond Green back on the court.

But there are few concerns regarding Thompson’s return from a big layoff and it will be interesting to see if he finds his old form back instantly after returning to action. Anyways chief coach Steve Kerr should have some backup plan as he would be ready for any adversity during or ahead of the season. Hence they needed to add more pieces to their team to supper Curry especially in absence of Thompson.

An offseason can change a lot of things for the club and sometimes even decide their future. Teams always look to utilize this period to good effect proving their intensions to win the NBA Championship. The Golden State Warriors however, have not done well in this offseason. While the fans are patiently waiting for the big moves, none of it has happened just yet. The training camp is days away and the season will start in a few weeks.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons was linked with the Warriors but he is not an option for them anymore. Hence there are questions whether the front office is taking the calls or has Curry any say in the trades made by the franchise. On ‘A Brother From Another’, podcast, Curry  was asked whether likes to be vocal about the offseason moves, and he said, “Yeah, I participate heavy,” he started off. “I am not in the war room or every meeting. But I feel like they trust my voice and that feeling is mutual. Me and Bob talked a lot in free agency and pre-draft, just trying to give my input on what the best decisions are.”

The conversation continued and Ben Simmons’ part came up. The Chef was asked whether Bob has discussed a potential move for Ben Simmons and Steph came up with a very subtle answer. He said, “Let’s just say, if you’re not having those conversations, then you’re not trying.”

Ben Simmons is eager to leave Philadephia 76ers and his name has been linked with the Warriors throughout the offseason.  While the Aussie would love to join Curry and Thompson, his biggest problem will be the presence of Draymond Green. GSW would not want to add Simmons to the roster when they already have a veteran in Green. So it will be interesting to see whether the Warriors make any big moves or not.
