I can’t believe the team that I currently root for employs Patrick Beverley – Nick Wright

The LA Lakers hogged the limelight when they decided to rope in the services of Patrick Beverley. It is well known that Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook share bad blood between them and many NBA pundits questioned the move of the Lakers when they decided to get the former on board.

NBA analyst Nick Wright feels it is going to be an unpleasant situation at the LA Lakers as he isn’t expecting Westbrook and Beverley to work in harmony on the court. Wright predicted that LeBron James might lose his cool because of the feud between these two players.

On a recent episode of “What’s Wright? With Nick Wright,” Wright said: “You know what’s gonna happen? There’s gonna be a moment that because LeBron. … Listen, LeBron does tend to – if there’s a defensive lapse even if it’s on LeBron, do the little like look around like. …

“And Beverly’s gonna bark back and LeBron, it might be LeBron’s first scandal of his career, he might strike this man. I can’t believe the team that I currently root for employs Patrick Beverly. It’s such a bummer.”

Meanwhile, Lakers head coach Darvin Ham recently said that both Westbrook and Beverley will play together for the franchise, dismissing any reports of them not being on the same page for the Lakers.

Ham had earlier said that Westbrook is going to be a crucial player for the Lakers and he is going to hold the key for them.

On the other hand, Russell Westbrook averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists in 78 games in the previous season and he will be looking to come up with a much-improved show.
