Golden State Warriors talisman Stephen Curry shares his stories from school and how it helped him in his NBA career

Golden State Warriors talisman Stephen Curry has revolutionized basketball for good. He has made long-range shooting a norm for every young player aspiring to play in the NBA. Recently Curry shared his high school story during his recent interview with Quentin and Darius.

Curry shared how he used to play basketball when he was 13 years old.  He then stopped playing ball for a few years and then restarted it again when he was 17 years old. Curry also shared how his father’s 16 year NBA career meant that he grew all around sports. But despite all of this he had a lot of trouble achieving his goals in life.

During the interview, Chef revealed how he got bullied in school and that helped him in his sensational NBA career. Apart from being the scorer of the highest number of threes, he has also won three NBA titles. Apart from that, he has also broken several records in his long run with the Warriors.

Curry throughout his childhood had to work extra hard to achieve his life goals. He always decided to put in hard yards and that helped him develop his skills. Curry’s career began at the Charlotte Christian High School. He worked very hard to fulfil his accomplishments. He shared things apart from playing ball.

When working on improving his game, he reminisced, “I played until I was 13 and then I didn’t play until I was 17 and those three years I just played school ball and a lot of it was because I was such a late bloomer like physically I could not keep up.”

The point guard then mentioned his time at the Amateur Athletic Union, saying, “If you’re faster strongest tallest you’re probably gonna shine you know the skilled guy isn’t really necessarily highlighted like that at that level and so it wasn’t doing me any good to get out there and just get bulldozed every game so those three years you know got to work on my game”.

Curry has broken several records but he has several other records to break and a lot more things to achieve. He has had another stellar season in the NBA as he has guided the Warriors with aplomb. The Warriors are second in the Western Conference with a stunning record of 42-17 only behind the Phoenix Suns.
