Los Angeles Lakers talisman Anthony Davis showered praise on LeBron James after they defeated Memphis Grizzlies by 117-111 in Overtime on Monday night. James scored a tying layup in regulation time with 0.8 seconds remaining on the clock.

The Lakers came up with a collective show as Austin Reaves scored 23 points whereas Anthony Davis scored 12 points.

“He just took over down the stretch,” Anthony Davis said of James. “Got us a bucket to get to overtime. … All our guys, it was a good team effort. This team is not going to go away.”

The Lakers outscored Memphis Grizzlies by 13-7 in overtime as Anthony Davis and LeBron James collectively scored nine points between them. The Lakers’ head coach Darvin Ham was proud of his team.

“I’m so proud of our guys, the way we fought,” Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. “We found a way.”

Meanwhile, the Lakers have put their noses in front in the first-round playoff series against Memphis Grizzlies with a 3-1 lead. Another win will see them through to the next round and they will look to continue the good show in the fifth game of the series, which will be played on Wednesday in Memphis. There is no doubt that James and Davis will once again hold the key for the Lakers
