It is a well-known fact through the 90s that one shouldn’t poke at Michael Jordan. The legendary player didn’t like it at all if he was tempted by the opposition players or journalists and there were many instances when he single-handedly destroyed the opposition with his wrath when he was sledged.
SiriusXM’s Frank Isola was on The Rich Eisen Show and he was asked which players of the 90s and 2000s would have been social media sensations. Isola feels Jordan would have stayed away from social media.
Isola revealed that Jordan liked people coming at him and then he used it as fuel to play at his lethal best.
Isola feels Denis Rodman, who was always surrounded by controversies, would have been really good at social media.
Isola said, “I think Dennis Rodman would have been pretty good,” Isola said.” Even though Charles Barkley said he won’t get into stuff like that, I can see him doing something like that…
“I think Michael Jordan would have stayed out of it. Michael Jordan liked people coming after him, and then he’d use it like his motivation. Kobe kind of became the same type of player. As you know, they provide so much content.”
Michael Jordan is regarded as one of the best players in the history of the game and played a huge role in revolutionizing the sport during his era. Jordan took the game to new heights with his extravagant skills and he was definitely a once-in-a-generation player.
Jordan won six NBA Championships in his glorious career with Chicago Bulls and he was the main engine of the team when they dominated the league. Jordan is currently the owner of Charlotte Hornets.
