Golden State Warriors talisman Draymond Green has claimed he is pretty certain that they will win three of the next four championships. The Dubs won the NBA 2021-22 championship after they defeated Boston Celtics by 4-2 in the finals.
This was their fourth NBA title in the last eight years as GSW continued their dynasty and Green feels they have a very good chance of continuing their supremacy.
Meanwhile, Steph Curry was outstanding for GSW in the finals and he was awarded the Finals MVP as he averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steal while shooting 48.2% overall in the NBA Finals.
Green feels it will be impossible to stop Curry.
Draymond Green said on the “Old Man and The Three” podcast, “Oh man, nobody can stop this dude now. I think that really changed the complexity of our organization and I’m pretty certain that’s why we’ll win three of the next four championships.”
Green recalled when he thought Curry will be unstoppable in the season. The GSW defender feels they are going to savor more success because of Curry.
“I think about the drive against Al Horford … Al Horford’s riding his hip and he just lays the ball up … He couldn’t bump him off his path and that’s when Steph turned a corner and he became unstoppable. And now we’re able to continue to win championships because he’s unstoppable.”
Curry was at his best in Game 6 of the NBA Finals as finished the game with 34 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, and made six of his 11 3-point shots.
On the other hand, Draymond Green reckons LA Clippers are going to be a force to reckon with in the Western Conference as Ty Lue is one of the best coaches in the NBA. Furthermore, the Clippers have players like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
“Ty Lue is arguably one of the best coaches in the NBA, arguably the best, someone can make that argument. And then they have great players, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the guys they’re filling in around them with.”
“You go pull a trade-off and get Robert Covington and Norman Powell and you already have Marcus Morris there and Reggie Jackson. They’re a real threat and a problem.”
