Houston Rockets stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook are reported to be unhappy about the conduct of club’s management.
According to reports, the duo is displeased with the club’s direction and feel excluded from the club’s process.
According to Kendrick Perkins, James Harden hasn’t spoken to Coach Stephen Silas, the owners or the front office.
One of the pointers to the misdirection of the franchise is the fact that Mike D’Antoni left the franchise to become an assistant coach with Steve Nash at the Brooklyn Nets.
Furthermore, Daryl Morey left the Houston Rockets’ General Manager position in October before joining the Philadelphia 76ers.
The leadership style of Owner Tilman Fertitta is being criticized. Fertitta has always been vocal He has been vocal about winning the championship.
In his pursuit of the win a championship-or-bust mantra, he reportedly played a strong hand in the Westbrook-for-Chris Paul swap—a move that backfired as Paul soared to All-NBA status in Oklahoma City last season.
Meanwhile, New general manager Rafael Stone has maintained the team wants to compete for a championship.

Irrespective, Westbrook and James Harden are concerned about the direction that the franchise has taken under new head coach Stephen Silas and newly promoted general manager Rafael Stone even though both players were consulted in the hiring process of Stephen Silas.
Other concerns of Westbrook includes the team’s accountability and culture and indicated of his wish to return to Oklahoma City Thunder but James Harden has stated he is staying at least for the new season.
