The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame is set to make history on Friday, July 24, with the opening of a new exhibition dedicated entirely to NBA superstar Stephen Curry, marking the first time the institution has created a feature experience for a current active player.
Titled Stephen Curry: Beyond the Arc, the immersive exhibition celebrates the remarkable journey and impact of the 12-time NBA All-Star, two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, four-time NBA champion, Olympic gold medalist and widely regarded as the greatest shooter in basketball history.
The project represents the latest evolution of the Hall of Fame’s acclaimed gallery, The Vault, and has been developed in direct partnership with Curry’s Thirty Ink business team. Rather than focusing solely on his achievements on the basketball court, the exhibition aims to present a broader picture of Curry’s legacy by highlighting his work as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and family man.
Visitors will be taken on a carefully curated journey through different stages of Curry’s life and career. The exhibition will feature an extensive collection of exclusive memorabilia, including rare game-worn apparel, championship artifacts and items from his Olympic triumphs. These pieces are intended to showcase defining moments from one of basketball’s most decorated careers.
The experience will also include rare archival footage documenting Curry’s rise from an overlooked college prospect to one of the sport’s biggest global stars. Through immersive audio and video presentations, visitors will gain insight into the milestones, challenges and emotions that have shaped his career, while first-hand storytelling elements are designed to offer a deeper look into the person behind the achievements.
By dedicating an entire feature exhibition to an active player, the Hall of Fame is introducing a landmark initiative in its nearly 75-year history. The exhibition reflects not only Curry’s accomplishments on the court but also the influence he has had beyond basketball through his business ventures, charitable work and personal journey.
Stephen Curry: Beyond the Arc will officially open to the public on July 24 at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, where fans and visitors will have the opportunity to explore an immersive tribute celebrating one of basketball’s most influential figures.
