NBA Analyst Chris Broussard refuses to not consider the Warriors as a contender next season just because they lost to the Lakers

The Golden State Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Lakers and their quest to defend the title came to an end. While many people feel that the Dubs dynasty is over, some believe that the Warriors will be a team to beat till the time Stephen Curry is in the team.

The fans were obviously backing the Warriors to win the series but they showed that without Curry’s extraordinary performances, they have many areas to improve. After this year’s performances not many will feel that they can win the Championship next season. They need to fix a few issues and there can be new personnel aswell to enhance the chances.

However, NBA analyst Chris Broussard has spoken in the Warriors’ defence as he explains why the Warriors are still a formidable team and cannot be discounted on a single series. He believes that as long as Stephen Curry is around at his best, the Warriors will keep on getting better and will be one of the contenders.

“I think they will still be a contender going forward,” Broussard stated. “The dynasty is Steph. … As long as Steph Curry is still in his prime, and I do think he’s arguably playing as well as he ever has,” Broussard stated.

Curry, who has featured 14 years in the NBA and has played for the Warriors right from the start. His exploits over the years are incredible and that makes him one of the best players of this generation. He has changed the game and the perspective of looking at it with his legendary shooting from beyond the arc.

The Warriors dynasty that they have built have been always around him and using his strengths. His shooting coupled with the exceptional support and belief among his teammates allowed the Warriors to be a very successful franchise in the NBA.

The dynasty that formed with Curry’s shooting prowess, Draymond Green’s hustle and Klay Thompson’s ability to keep everyone together allowed them to register four NBA titles. They will be gunning for more as the Chef is around and dropping in those masterclass performances.

Obviously, there are concerns in and around the team in terms of strategies and also a lot of decision needs to be taken heading into the next season. So this remains a very crucial time period for the Dubs.
