Fury Vows To Destroy Paul In Next Month’s Feature

Tommy Fury, younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has pledged to dismantle Jake Paul when they meet next month in Saudi Arabia. A fight between the two has been talked about for a while now and two scheduled fights in the past never held. Now, Fury has said that not only would the fight happen, but he would claim a resounding victory over his opponent.

The British boxer made this known on Monday when he met with the BBC. He said: “By the time I get in the ring I’ll be an absolute specimen and I’ll be able to dismantle this man very quickly and very early.”

He also boasted that Paul had nothing on him, just because he had an elaborate social media presence: “There’s no way this man can beat me. There’s not a chance in the world. Just because he’s got 22 million followers on Instagram, that doesn’t make it a 50-50 fight.”

Last year August, the two fighters were supposed to meet but the fight was cancelled after Fury was denied exit out of Britain, forcing Paul to choose another opponent.

Both Fury and Paul have unbeaten records, meaning next month’s fight would end in a first-time loss for one of them. For now, it is tough to predict who would go home with an unbeaten record or the fight might even end in a draw.

The fight is scheduled to hold in Saudi Arabia, on the 26th of February, and there have been some criticisms over the choice of venue. But Fury has said that it does not matter where the fight takes place, he would show up to beat Paul: “I don’t care, I’d fight this man on the moon and fight him in the parking lot outside. I’m not really interested. If it’s Saudi, I’m happy to be coming to Saudi, putting on a show for everybody.”
