The transfer news in Germany won’t be complete without Bayern in the news. The Bavarians have been trying so hard to add to their attacking ranks after being linked to numerous players, both home and abroad.
Bayern is looking for more players on the flanks to assist Serge Gnabry in pushing the attack. Gnabr has been in great form this season, but they still need a player to complement the winger on the flanks after the departure of veterans Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
Besides, Bayern is looking to reduce the workload on Robert Lewandowski the Polish international has been very outstandingly for the Club scoring goals with reckless abandon, but the pole would need a backup, and this has promoted Bayern to target a forward.
Alexander Sorloth is the name on Bayern’s radar as he has been courted for long by the German champions.
The young forward is currently on loan in Trabzonspor from the premier league side Everton, the Turkish side, however, has the first-hand option of signing him permanently for £6million.
His form has been blistering of late for the Turkish side. The Norwegian struggled for form at Everton, which made the club ship him down to Turkey. On his arrival to the Turkish league, he has shown massive improvement in scoring 23 goals with right assists across all competitions.
His creativity in the final third has made him fearsome for opposition defenders. Although Dortmund Erling Braut Haaland is the most informed Norweigan right now, Sorloth has been carefully following his footsteps.
If Bayern could get their hands on the forward, it would relieve a lot off the shoulders of Lewandowski, and he can probably take over from the Polish International sometimes in the future.
