Adam Idah scored his 18th goal of the season with a superb finish in the 1-1 draw against Rangers at Ibrox.
The Irish striker was pleased with his finish, providing an equalizer early in the second half after the Hoops had conceded a goal just before the break.
During an exclusive interview with the club’s channel, Idah revealed that there was also some disappointment that the Champions hadn’t taken all three points from the last Glasgow derby of the season.
“I thought we deserved to win, and we had quite a few chances that we probably should have put to bed, but at the end of the day, it’s a tough game coming here, so we take the point.” He said.
Now Brendan Rodgers’ side will look to take maximum points from their three remaining league games against Hibernian, Aberdeen, and St. Mirren, respectively, before the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen on May 24.
And Idah, who was the Hampden hero in last season’s Scottish Cup final triumph over Rangers, is looking forward to the remaining few weeks of the campaign, with the Hoops having the chance of securing another domestic treble.
Celtic need to keep the momentum going forward, most especially into the cup finals, as they’ve got three games coming up, which will definitely be a brilliant test for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
“They’re all going to be tough games. We’ve won the league, but we want to do the best we can and get as many points as we can out of those games before we go into the cup final, and we’re looking forward to it,” he added.
