Dortmund slap a hefty price tag on teenage English star midfielder

According to the latest reports from Germany, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have skyrocketed the price for their English international midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Following the departure of Erling Haaland to Premier League side Manchester City this summer, the Black and Yellow now see the youngster as their most prized asset price tagging a huge amount of £103m on the 19-year-old.

Bellingham has spent two years at Westfalenstadion. During these couple of years, the teenage sensation has become a pivotal figure in the Dortmund squad, gathering 10 goals and 18 assists in 89 appearances.

The way Dortmund valued Bellingham shows how important he is to the club. There was a time he had three years left on his contract, and Dortmund never listened to any offers as they ensured he remained committed to the club.

If by any chance, Bellingham signs an extension in the next year, there are tendencies he might be on only if the right price is met.

The teenager is seen as that midfielder to go very far in years to come, and he is undoubtedly showing flashes of brilliance at such a tender age.

Further reports suggest Spanish champions Real Madrid are looking to add the former Birmingham City lad to their midfield options to join the likes of Eduardo Camavinga and newly signed French teenager Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Dortmund hierarchies have not given other clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United showing interest a listening ear. However, if the right price is met, there could be no other option than sanctioning the sale.

For now, Bellingham is fully focused and remains an integral part of the Dortmund team as they prepare for the new Bundesliga season ahead.
