Fiorentina and Valencia rejected Milan’s offer for Kean and Guerra

Fiorentina have rejected the player plus cash offer for Moise Kean.

According to reports in Italy, Milan is interested in the Italian striker as they aim to add another source of firepower to their attack.

This means Milan will have to be ready to pay his €52m release clause in his contract. As they intend to keep the striker, the Viola hope nobody comes in to activate the release clause.

The former Juventus striker made a huge impact in Florence this season with 19 Serie A goals in 32 games. He eventually registered m 25 goals in 44 competitive appearances for the Florence club.

Meanwhile,  Manchester United and the Saudi Pro League sides have also been linked with the 25-year-old striker.

Sport Mediaset claim that Milan are eager to go for the Italy international who already worked with new coach Max Allegri at Juventus. This could make him to be eager for a reunion.

Reports say that Milan are not ready to pay the full €52m clause as they instead trying to negotiate a transfer with Fiorentina, including Filippo Terracciano as part exchange.

According to Calciomercato.com, Viola won’t accept this offer as they remain eager to keep hold of Kean and would only let him go if forced into a corner.

In another development, Valencia have rejected the first Milan offer for Javi Guerra of €20m including add-ons.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the La Liga club want more than €25m for the player.

Therefore,  the Rossoneri are expected to come back in with a higher bid to have a deal for the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Valencia will only get 70 percent of the money from the sale of the midfielder because they will have to pay his former club Villarreal a 30 percent cut of the transfer fee.

If they eventually sell him for €25m, this means they would be handing €7.5m over to Villarreal, which would make it an insufficient profit.

Guerra’s current deal expires in June 2027 and Valencia know that his value could drop the closer he gets to the expiry.

Milan could use their previous relationship with Valencia, having signed Yunus Musah in 2023 for €20m plus add-ons.
