Galatasaray set to sign Álvaro González from Marseille

Indications have shown that Marseille defender Álvaro González could be joining Turkish giants Galatasaray in the winter transfer window.

The 32-year-old centre-back has found his playing time limited this season at Olympique Marseille. He is likely to leave the club soon.

Although Bordeaux wanted him, he seems not to be ready to stay in France. Other clubs monitoring his situation include Strasbourg and Spanish club Valencia.

Reports also say that the Spanish player favours the move to the Turkish club, who are offering a loan with an option to buy, but he primarily wants to stay at Marseille.

In another development, Tottenham Hotspur is in talks with Angers for Mohamed-Ali Cho.

According to Journalist Ignazio Genuardi, the Premier League side have launched talks over the potential signing of the young forward.

Spurs is interested in the 18-year-old French youth international because he is one of the brightest talents in Ligue 1.

The former Everton academy player broke onto the scene last year. Spurs could sign him in a potential €20m deal.

It was also reported that Borussia Dortmund were in talks for the forward as well.

Meanwhile, Lazio and Brighton are monitoring the situation of Montpellier forward Ryan Bakayoko.

Foot Mercato reports that the 19-year-old who is also on the radar of an unnamed French club is yet to make a senior appearance but has scored eight goals in 11 games with the MHSC, a second-team playing in the French fourth tier this season.

Ligue 1 ginat, PSG is set to also loan out Eric Junior Dina Ebimbé to Bayer Leverkusen.

According to Foot Mercato, the Bundesliga club is interested in the 21-year-old midfielder, who is in search of more consistent game time.

Dina Ebimbé was on loan at Le Havre in Ligue 2 two seasons ago before linking up with eventually relegated Ligue 1 Dijon last season.

It was gathered that Leverkusen had held discussions with the player’s representatives for several months, and a loan is imminent.

Leverkusen will reportedly offer an option to buy at the end of the season, while PSG retains a sizeable resale percentage clause on any subsequent transfer for the midfielder.
