English Forward Raheem Sterling is attracting interest from clubs outside of England as the Premier League champions continue to reshuffle ahead of the 2022\2023 Premier League season.
Manchester City finished winners of the Premier League after a 3-2 victory on the final day of the season, with Sterling winning his fourth on a personal level, although the 27-year-old started from the bench against Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old forward has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, while Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid in Spain are also looking forward to agreeing on terms with the striker.
This is coming after Manchester City secured the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund before the end of the season while they also signed a striker Julian Alvarez from River Plate, and the club is still expected to sign more players in the summer.
Meanwhile, going forward into the summer, the contract situation of Raheem Sterling will be discussed during the UEFA Nations League as the player has revealed he is not ready to play a small role in the squad going forward, leaving the chance of an exit very high.
Raheem Sterling is eyeing a place in the Three Lions squad ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November, and he is aware that a peripheral role will diminish his chances in Gareth Southgate’s team to the Mundial.
The former Liverpool forward played 30 Premier League games this season, scoring 13 goals and 5 assists. His UEFA Champions League numbers include 12 games and three goals.
Meanwhile, Tottenham has confirmed the signing of Croatian forward Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
The 33-year-old joins on a 2-year deal till 2024, reuniting with the manager that he played with at the Italian club.
Perisic had his medicals on Monday and has stated in his first interview as a Spurs player that he is excited to join the North London club, especially with their UEFA Champions League qualification.
“I am really excited to start with the Spurs family. After the victory against Arsenal, it was obvious Tottenham would be in the Champions League – and it was also good for me because I want to play in the best games,” Perisic said.
