Rodgers’ Celtic future in doubt amid poor form and fans unrest

Celtic Park is gripped by uncertainty over Brendan Rodgers’ long-term future as manager. Following a string of disappointing results and escalating supporter protests, doubts about his continuity at the club have intensified.

Rodgers, whose contract expires next summer, recently expressed openness to staying if “conditions were right.” 

However, insiders reveal mounting frustration with the club’s structure and insufficient transfer market support, rendering that possibility increasingly unlikely.

The atmosphere at Celtic Park has soured dramatically in recent weeks. Fan demonstrations, scrutiny over recruitment strategies, and backlash against the board’s perceived lack of ambition have fueled tensions. 

Although Rodgers dismissed any direct impact from the protests on team performance, the incidents underscore the strained environment enveloping Celtic’s campaign.

Now, with pressure mounting on Rodgers to revive spirits through improved results, the board faces heightened examination ahead of the January transfer window. 

Losing the manager for a second time would deliver a devastating blow, especially amid existing uncertainties in recruitment, fan relations, and on-pitch form.

Without a significant overhaul in the board’s approach, Celtic risks yet another managerial upheaval before next season begins.
