Yang again continues to shine as he followed his impressive cameo against Aberdeen by making a huge impression from the bench in Saturday night’s vital victory over St Mirren.
The South Korean entered the fray in Paisley and had a vital say in the 5-2 victory over St. Mirren as he scored a brace and could indeed have had a hat trick, only for the offside flag halting his celebrations.
He scored two fine headers on each side of a fine Daizen Maeda strike, the first of which fired us back into the lead, and the second rounded off the evening scoring.
In his short time on the pitch, his direct play and goal threat constantly threatened the St Mirren defense, which was duly recognized with the Player of the Match award.
Yang is currently upstaging the inspirational Nicolas Kuhn, who looked a little below par, just as he did on Tuesday night against Aberdeen.
Some fans feel Nicolas remains the man firmly in possession of that right-hand side slot.
However, if Yang keeps up this sort of form, then the German may have a fight on his hands regarding being a nailed-on first-team starter in the not-too-distant future.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Rodgers revealed how excited he was to have his attack returning back to full shape as his side looks to build on their impressive performances so far this campaign.
“I am happy with Yang, his work ethic has improved, and we can all see that on the pitch. James [Forrest] isn’t far away as well. He said
