Schalke 04 eye experienced Duo Gosens and Lindstrøm

Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 are actively exploring summer transfer options to strengthen their squad, with Fiorentina left-back Robin Gosens emerging as a key target.

The 30-year-old German international brings significant experience across top European leagues. 

Having featured prominently in the Bundesliga and Serie A, as well as for the German national team, Gosens would provide the leadership and know-how Schalke desperately need as they aim to stabilize and progress. 

His versatility and attacking contributions from the left flank make him an attractive option for the club.

However, securing his signature won’t be straightforward. Gosens remains under contract with Fiorentina until the summer of 2028, and his market value is estimated at around €4 million. 

Schalke will need to negotiate a feasible deal, likely involving a loan or a structured transfer fee that fits their financial constraints.

In addition to Gosens, Schalke are showing strong interest in Danish attacker Jesper Lindstrøm.

 The 26-year-old is reportedly very keen on returning to Germany, where he previously enjoyed spells with Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg.

 Last season, Lindstrøm spent time on loan at a Lower Saxony club that was ultimately relegated, making 15 appearances without recording any goals or assists.

Currently considered surplus to requirements at parent club SSC Napoli, Lindstrøm is also valued at approximately €4 million. 

His availability at a reasonable price and willingness to move could make him a realistic and cost-effective addition to bolster Schalke’s attacking options.

Both players represent experienced, relatively affordable reinforcements as Schalke look to build a competitive squad. 

With negotiations likely to intensify in the coming weeks, fans will be watching closely to see if these targets can be converted into new signings.
