Wague, Vidal Close To Barcelona Exit

Barcelona’s right-back Moussa Wague will spend the rest of the season at Greek side PAOK after moving on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old’s deal has an option of making the deal permanent, and he had his medical on Monday.

The youngster apparently isn’t in any of manager Ronald Koeman’s plans for this season having missed out of the team’s pre-season friendlies despite making six appearances for the club last season.

He also went out on loan to the French Ligue 1 last season with Nice making five appearances and two assists.

Meanwhile, the Senegalese is not the only right-back moving at the Camp Nou as Portuguese defender Nelson Semedo is also said to be close to a move to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The English club can sign the 26-year-old, who has made 124 appearances for the club, for a fee of 30 million pounds as a replacement for Matt Doherty who moved to Tottenham Hotspur.

Similarly, Arturo Vidal is close to an Inter Milan move after having his medical in Milan on Monday as well. The player’s deal is expected to be concluded and completed in the next 24 hours.

The Chilean will be reuniting with his former boss Antonio Conte whom he played under at Juventus.

Barcelona are planning a revamp of the team after convincing Lionel Messi to stay back during a turbulent off season.

Forward Luis Suarez has also been a subject of transfer rumors having been linked with a move away to Juventus recently. However it seems like that the Uruguayan will end up at Atlético Madrid.

Barcelona are yet to kick start their 2020-2021 La Liga season but will start this weekend against Villarreal at the Camp Nou.

Rivals Real Madrid started the season with a goalless draw against Real Sociedad at the weekend away from home.
