England Prepares For T20 World Cup Final  Against Pakistan

England is currently preparing to face Pakistan in the T20 World Cup final on Sunday. This is coming after England defeated India by 10 wickets in the semifinal on Thursday. England was helped by half-centuries from Jos Buttler, 80 from 49, and Alex Hales, 86 from 47. England’s win means we would be denied the chance to witness a final match between India and Pakistan, two countries with an intense history of rivalry.

Buttler, England’s skipper, has expressed pride in his side qualifying for the final, describing them as dangerous as he said that victory against India was England’s best performance of the tournament. He said: “It’s going to be an amazing occasion. You don’t come down this road very often, so it’s certainly something to be relished.

“It’s important we enjoy the performance [against India] but don’t get too far ahead of ourselves. The biggest game of this tournament is still to come.

“I’m immensely proud of the guys. That was a brilliant performance, by far our best performance of the tournament.

“We’ve got some brilliant players in our team, and when they play their best, they’re a tough team to beat. We’re an incredibly dangerous side, and there’s huge confidence in the group.

The last time England was in the T20 World Cup final, in 2016, they lost to the West Indies. They have only won the tournament once since its inception in 2007, which was when they defeated Australia in 2010. Pakistan, like England, have won the tournament once, in 2009, after finishing losing the final to India in 2007.

The T20 World Cup final would hold this Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia.
