But Cleveland quickly seized control after the break. Closing the first half on an 11-2 run and opening the third quarter with an 11-1 burst, the Cavaliers built a commanding lead that the Raptors could not recover from.
At the heart of Cleveland’s victory was Jarrett Allen, who produced a standout all-around performance. The center recorded 22 points and a game-high 19 rebounds, dominating the paint on both ends. His third-quarter display proved decisive, as he piled up 14 points and 10 rebounds to swing momentum firmly in Cleveland’s favor.
Head coach Kenny Atkinson praised Allen’s impact, calling it one of his finest performances. Cleveland’s dominance on the boards was evident, outrebounding Toronto 60-33 and converting second-chance opportunities into a significant scoring advantage.
